The Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone, hosts the famous American musician, who arrives in the capital for his Dream Box/Moondial Tour 2024 as part of the Roma Jazz Festival 2024.

The artist takes the stage as a soloist to perform a medley of his most famous melodies for acoustic guitar, followed by some pieces from the extraordinary Beyond The Missouri Sky, recorded in 1997 with double bass player Charlie Haden, and then captivating the audience with a thrilling improvisation and his iconic 42-string, four- neck Pikasso guitar, in an exciting crescendo that, with the addition of the Orchestrion, creates an evocative orchestral atmosphere.

Co-author of the unforgettable This is Not America, a song written in collaboration with David Bowie for the film The Falcon and the Snowman, Pat Metheny has been the leader of the Pat Metheny Group , with Lyle Mays on keyboards, and Unity Band with Chris Potter, also collaborating with famous artists such as Herbie Hancock, Ornette Coleman, Milton Nascimento Michael Brecker and John Scofield. 

With a masterful technique, great creativity and spirit of experimentation, the Missouri-born guitarist has always been one of the most iconic musicians on the world music scene. During his extraordinary career, he has revolutionised the jazz guitar scene, creating a unique and distinctive sound with which he has sold over 20 million records and earned numerous prizes and awards, including 20 Grammy Awards and 3 gold records.
