For the first time in Italy, the highly anticipated show, inspired by Baz Luhrmann's famous and award-winning 2001 film, debuts on the stage of the imposing Sistina Chapiteau in the production by Massimo Romeo Piparo.
Premiered in Boston in 2018, the musical tells the passionate love story between Christian, a young writer, and Satine, star of the legendary cabaret, against the backdrop of the Belle Époque in lively Paris.
Glamour, glitter and an irresistible soundtrack: the musical features a sumptuous production, spectacular choreography and an extraordinary cast - Diana Del Bufalo (Satine), Luca Gaudiano (Cristian), Emiliano Geppetti (Zidler), Gilles Rocca (Santiago), Mattia Braghero (Duke of Monroth) and Daniele Derogatis (Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec) - directed by Piparo and accompanied by the songs of iconic artists such as Lady Gaga, David Bowie, Queen, Elton John, Madonna, Rihanna and Adele, performed by a live orchestra.
Produced by PeepArrow Entertainment, together with Sistina, under licence from Global Creatures, Moulin Rouge!
