Lorenzo Viotti / Spring

As part of the concert season of the Auditorium Parco della Musica, a triptych of concerts is scheduled with titles inspired by the spring, which represents the awakening of nature and for this reason it has always had an important space in the history of music: from the lively and festive Symphony n. 1 by Robert Schumann Spring of 1841, the first symphonic work published by the German composer, to the symphonic suite Printemps by Claude Debussy of 1887, written at a young age but already innovative, because it is characterized by certain notations built on the pentatonic scale - typical of Impressionism - distant from the traditionally classical tonality, up to the Spring Funeral by Alexander von Zemlinsky, composer of the "Felix Austriae" of the beginning of the 20th century and spiritual heir of Mahler as well as Strauss.
