Appointment on 19 January 2025 with La Corsa di Miguel, which this year presents the Onda donna project. The goal? To encourage more and more women to participate in running races and to arrive on 19 January with at least 3,000 registered female runners. For this reason, bib number 1 will be handed over by Olympian Antonella Bellutti to Edith Ventosilla Shaw, a runner also known for her social commitment as a Paralympic guide for the visually impaired.
The 26th edition of the running race is held in memory of the Argentinean marathon runner and poet Miguel Sanchez, who disappeared and is open to both those who want to compete and those who want to test themselves with the non-competitive formula.
Like every year, along with the 10 km, there is also the Strantirazzismo, an amateur race starting from the Ponte della Musica and finishing inside the Stadio Olimpico. A simple 3 km route, to be run or walked, dedicated to the fight against all forms of discrimination.
Within the framework of the Onda donna project, on the initiative of the Assessorato alla Cultura di Roma Capitale, the first 300 enrolled will have free access to the exhibition Roma Pittrice. Artiste al lavoro tra XVI e XIX secolo at Palazzo Braschi.
La Corsa di Miguel also presents itself this year as an increasingly inclusive race. There will be plenty of space for joelettes, special wheelchairs for people with disabilities, and tricycles for children running the Strantirazzismo.
The event has the patronage of Roma Capitale - Assessorato Grandi Eventi, Sport, Turismo e Moda, Coni, Sport e Salute, Unar, Università degli Studi di Roma Foro Italico, Comitato italiano paralimpico, Città Metropolitana di Roma Capitale, Assist, Regione Lazio.

Arrival inside the Stadio Olimpico
Start in groups of up to 2,000 athletes. An adequate time interval is foreseen between the starts of each step to guarantee the distance between the athletes of the different steps.
There are 5 starting grids:
1. The first is intended for the top runners with black bibs;
2. The second for the competitive race of 10 km green bib;
3. The third for the competitive 10 km race blue bib;
4. The fourth for the 10 km competitive race yellow bib;
5. For all participants in the non-competitive 10 km race, white bib.
