The traditional appointment in front of St. Peter's Square is back to celebrate the feast of All Saints with one of the most popular classic races for runners from all over Italy.
The Corsa dei Santi, now in its 14th edition, is one of the most evocative competitions of the sports scene in recent years: a unique path its way through the heart of Rome, along the most beautiful streets, squares and monuments in the world.
The race, organized by ACSI Italia Atletica, is open to all athletes - champions, professionals and simple enthusiasts. The runners, divided into two categories, face a competitive path of 10,100 km, starting and arriving in front of the famous square, a masterpiece of the Bernini.
The Corsa dei Santi promotes the values of sport according to the Salesian educational tradition and aims to give visibility to significant charitable projects every year. The solidarity initiatives are supported by famous testimonials, as happened for the latest editions with the Paralympic athlete Giusy Versace, the American sprinter Carl Lewis, the singers Dee Dee Bridgewater and Anggun, the fencer Valentina Vezzali, the singer Al Bano and the athlete Fiona May.
