The "Jazz & Image" show, a stone's throw from the Colosseum, in the frame of the Parco del Celio, is not just jazz music, but it is an open space, with seminars, open rehearsals, music courses, reading books and magazines relating to jazz, meetings and music therapy activities, performances by emerging artists, documentary screenings and exhibitions and other cultural activities parallel to jazz.
The program, which continues until early October, offers the best of national and international jazz; we point out, among others, Kid Creole and The Coconuts and Frankie & Canthina Band, the legendary drummer Bruce Ditmans, Jaques Morelembaum with Stefania Tallini and Gabriel Grossi, the saxophonist Dayna Stevens with Dario Deidda, Domenico Sanna and Francesco Ciniglio, Aires Tango, the Freddy Hendrix Quintet, Gregoire Maret with Nguyen Le Sextet, Rosario Giuliani Quartet with Joe Locke as guest, the Fabrizio Bosso & Paolo Silvestri Ensemble "Duke" and many more.
The exhibition is curated by the Cultural Association Suond Image, with the artistic direction of Alexanderplatz by Eugenio Rubei.
