The show at the Palladium Theater was born from the collaboration between the theater group La chambre magique and the Frosinone Conservatory, which stage a classic by Euripides, with a new translation from the Greek by Michele Napolitano and the direction by Michele Suozzo.
The Greek tragedy tells of Phaedra's passion for her stepson Hippolytus and how she kills herself falsely accusing Hippolytus of abusing her. The young man, who dies struck by his father's curse, is finally exonerated by the goddess Artemis, his patroness. The show is staged with the wonderful choirs sung with specially composed music and choreography. Authors of the music, the students of Maestro Luca Salvadori's composition class, of the Frosinone Conservatory: Giorgio Astrei, Antonino Caracò, Ruben Doda, Massimiliano Piscitello, Lorenzo Sorgi.
