Three days of competition and entertainment under the lights of the Foro Italico complex, in the open-air pool of the Stadio del Nuoto, which was designed for the 1960 Rome Olympics.
Conceived in 1963, the Trofeo Settecolli - Internazionali di nuoto is the most prestigious Italian swimming event and one of the oldest meetings in the world. This year, in addition to celebrating its 60th birthday together with 20 Nazioni, it is enriched by the presence of the Italian national team that will participate in the next Olympics and the water polo test match between Italy and France.
Over the years, the trophy has seen the participation of Italy’s best swimmers, who have been able to compete against athletes of world stature outside official competitions. Athletes representing 30 countries have already registered for the 2024 edition as well, with many Olympic and world champions and multiple medalists ready to test themselves a month before the Olympics. The 70 Italian athletes present (43 summoned in the A national team and 27 in the under-23 national team) will take to the pool to win the last passes for the Paris 2024 Games and improve their personal bests, fighting to the last hundredth.
