Saturday, 28 March 2026 will mark a historic date: for the first time, the Operazione Nostalgia gathering will take place indoors, in Rome's iconic Palazzo dello Sport.
And it is not just any meet-up: a spectacular three-way tournament will debut, with three teams ready to thrill the audience – Italy, Europe and the Rest of the World – inaugurating a new indoor format with a more intimate court and gameplay closer to spectators, who will be able to admire the champions of the world's most beloved sport up close.
Packed with activities, the Fan Village at the event will offer excitement and moments designed for fans of all ages.
Francesco Totti – legendary captain of AS Roma and captain of the Italian national team – has officially presented the 2026 edition of Operazione Nostalgia, an unmissable event that goes beyond a simple match: it is a day dedicated to memories, sport and shared emotions. Families, fans and enthusiasts can experience stories and protagonists that have marked world football.
Operazione Nostalgia began as a simple Facebook page with the aim of recounting the football of yesteryear, the kind that made people fall in love with the game. Then came the gatherings, born out of fun, and that first meeting in Piazza San Babila on 4 September 2015. Since then, more than 120,000 people have participated in the event. An incredible journey, starting from nothing and ending up involving some of the greatest players in Italian football.
