The stars of world athletics and the Italian champions are back to challenge each other at the Olympic Stadium in the most prestigious international athletics meeting in Italy, the thirteenth stage of the Wanda Diamond League international circuit.

Born in 1980, thanks to the intuition of Primo Nebiolo, then president of the FIDAL, the sports event has recorded numerous records that have helped consolidate its outstanding tradition. From the first edition, in which an enthusiastic crowd admired the performances of extraordinary athletes, including Pietro Mennea and Sara Simeoni, to the following ones, with the results achieved by participating champions – from speed to middle-distance race, from jumps to throws – which have made the history of world athletics. 

The 44th edition of the Italian sporting event marks the return to Rome after the 2023 edition in Florence. It includes fourteen specialities, seven for men and seven for women, valid for qualifying for the finals in Brussels in September. 

The eagerly awaited appointment in the Capital is an opportunity to experience great emotions again with the Italian champions and international athletics stars, ready to break the wall of the world's best performances with new, exciting challenges.
