On 8 and 9 February, the Jubilee of the Armed Forces will be held in St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican.
Particularly invited to this jubilee event, together with their families, are all members of the military and police forces, traffic police, security workers, veterans, various military associations, military academies, chaplaincies and military ordinariates.
The Church has always had a thought for those men and women who put themselves at the service of the population to ensure security and peace, two necessary conditions to ensure the progress and serenity of society.

Saturday 8th February
- from 8.00 to 18.00: Pilgrimage to the Holy Door with the possibility of receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation in the Jubilee churches divided by language
- from 15.00 to 17.00: Welcome moment with band concert (Piazza del Popolo)
Sunday 9 February
- at 10.30: Holy Mass presided over by the Holy Father (St. Peter's Square)
