Giubileo dei sacerdoti e dei seminaristi

The Jubilee of Priests will be held from Wednesday 25 to Friday 27 June. The moment of welcome by the presbytery of Rome is scheduled for the 25th, from 17.30 to 18.30 in Piazza S. Giovanni in Laterano. The day of the 26th, from 8.00 until 18.00, is dedicated to the pilgrimage to the Holy Door and the Sacrament of Reconciliation that can be received in the Jubilee churches. From 19.00 until 21.00 there will be a vocational vigil in St Peter's Square, together with the Bishops and seminarians. On Friday 27 at 9.30, again in St. Peter's Square, Pope Francis will preside at Holy Mass.On the previous days, the Jubilee of the seminarians will be held. On Monday 23 June, in the Basilica of St. John, at 5pm there will be a welcome meeting and the common recitation of First Vespers of St. John. Tuesday 24 June, after the Catechesis with the Pope in St. Peter's Square (at 9.00), the pilgrimage to the Holy Door begins. There is also the possibility for seminarians to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation in the Jubilee churches and to experience the celebration of Mass in the different language groups. From 17.30 until 19.30 there will be moments of sharing and celebration in the Gardens of Castel Sant'Angelo.
