This exhibition, held to coincide with the Holy Year of the Vatican Jubilee 2025 (Pilgrimage of Hope), also coincides with the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Jordan and the Holy See, as well as the 60th anniversary of Pope Paul VI's historic visit to Jordan in 1964. It is a celebration of faith, friendship and peace.
A first of its kind, the exhibition features 90 original artefacts bearing witness to centuries of devotion, art and sacred traditions witnessed and practised by Christians in Jordan over the centuries. Many of these artefacts are being displayed outside Jordan for the first time, underlining the enduring friendship that Jordan and the Holy See enjoy.
