The Palazzo delle Esposizioni presents the second edition of the review Exhibitions on display. Contemporary Rome, dedicated to the reconstruction of major exhibitions held in Rome.
The initiative, organized by the Azienda Speciale Palaexpo, is closely linked to the research project Exhibition in Rome 1970 - 1989 conducted with the collaboration of the Fondazione La Quadriennale di Roma in which data and documents relating to the exhibitions held in the capital are collected in the seventies and eighties, which can be consulted and, in some cases, also downloaded free of charge in a database.
The initial research project, the one concerning the Seventies, was also published online on the occasion of the exhibition “The 70s. Art in Rome” which was held at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in 2013-2014.
The exhibition, accompanied by workshops, training meetings, screenings and special projects, is curated by Daniela Lancioni.
