Concerto di Pasqua - Festival di Pasqua 2023-Foto: sito ufficiale di turismorma

The traditional Easter Concert, which takes place on Sunday 9 April 2023 in the wonderful Basilica of Sant'Andrea della Valle, represents the most important event of the whole Festival. The event, now in its XXVI edition, makes exceptional use of an orchestra made up of Russian and Ukrainian musicians, gathered under the direction of Stefano Sovrani, with the participation of the Dutch soprano of American origin Lisa Houben, international star of opera music, with television direction by Enrico Castiglione himself and the enhancement of Urban Vision.

As always, the Concert presents a wide repertoire of arias and pieces of sacred music among the most popular and loved, such as those by Antonio Vivaldi, Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Alessandro Stradella, Georges Bizet, Pietro Mascagni, Giacomo Puccini.

The event, founded in 1998 by the musical theater director and set designer Enrico Castiglione, has never been characterized by a strong symbolic value as this year.
