From 16 to 24 March, Fiera Roma will host the 48th edition of Casaidea, a nine-day, free-entrance event to find ideas and solutions for living your home the way you want or discover the latest trends in the sector.

Casaidea offers a complete vision of home furnishing, with over 150 companies from all over Italy, including big brands and Made in Italy artisan excellence, and stands presenting highly qualified and specialised solutions, ranging from classic to design. Particular attention is paid to the creativity of designers and architects, new materials and outdoor spaces, with moments of in-depth analysis on different themes.

Casaidea's format intelligently brings together high-level industry and craftsmanship, promoting the sector's most significant brands, in an exhibition concept that leads you on a free path through the stands, stimulating interest, attention and taste through continuous aesthetic contaminations.

Experience the outdoors as an extra room

After a cold winter, the temptation to rediscover the outdoors is irresistible. In Italy, thanks to a climate that is usually mild, the choice of outdoor accommodation has always been very careful: while houses are getting smaller and smaller, more attention is paid to spaces such as gardens, balconies, terraces and porticoes, whether of direct appurtenance or condominiums. They are in fact fundamental areas for recovering space to be used for new functions, almost like an additional room that have been transformed into places of aggregation and conviviality, the "living room" moves outdoors in fine weather and the boundary between indoor and outdoor becomes increasingly thinner. Therefore, at Casaidea 2024 you will find the most modern and innovative solutions, from furniture to fireplaces or ovens for cooking food, from outdoor lighting to swimming pools, both in international contemporary style and in more traditional national expressions.

Innovation and well-being inside and outside your home

Treating yourself to moments of pure relaxation at the end of the day is certainly one way to benefit your body and mind. But if it is not always possible to treat oneself to a spa escape, why not bring the spa into the home? On show at Casaidea 2024: futuristic massage chairs that, thanks to their many functions, promise miracles of relaxation and massage - shiatsu, sliding, pressure, vibration and air compression - directly and comfortably at home.

The sustainable garden: recycle, reuse and reduce

Casaidea proposes eco-sustainable maintenance of green spaces to achieve independence from ecological islands, recycling and reusing waste such as pulverised grass with the patented cutting system allows the transformation of a "waste" into precious fertiliser, humus, one of the key factors in creating stable and fertile soil, capable of easily releasing nutrients and balancing the presence of air and water. With bio-shredders it is then possible to shred hedges, trees and shrubs, obtaining wood chips that can be reused for mulching or to be mixed with soil. As the wood chips decompose, they become an excellent natural fertiliser, a water reservoir and help protect against drought.

Furniture complements, armchairs and sofas

For lovers of minimalism, the classic black and white does not lack, while for those who want to, Casaidea proposes new colour combinations with evocative effects, with metallic and iridescent tones that give rooms a contemporary touch. Of industrial inspiration are the simple and essential iron components, which dress the environment with functional geometries also present in fabrics and wallpapers, as in the design of furnishing accessories. Chairs, sofas and armchairs become transformable and protagonists of the harmony of slow-living, a multifunctional atmosphere for informal moments: a private nest for indulging in reading and listening to good music.
