Capannelle is back – calendar of competitive fixtures from September to December 2026

Following its reopening on 4 September, the Ippodromo Capannelle is once again hosting regular racing activity, with a calendar running through to the end of the year and featuring both flat racing and trotting events.

The September programme is particularly busy, with nine days of flat racing scheduled for 4, 8, 11, 15, 19, 20, 22, 25 and 29 September, alongside eight trotting fixtures on 6, 9, 12, 16, 18, 23, 28 and 30 September. Among the month’s highlights, Sunday 20 September marks a key date, with the official reopening ceremony taking place at the racecourse.

The programme continues in October, with eight flat-racing meetings scheduled for 2, 6, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27 and 30 October. November is the busiest month of the period, with ten days of racing on 3, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 24 and 27 November.

In December, the flat-racing calendar concludes with six meetings, scheduled for 4, 7, 11, 18, 22 and 29 December, bringing the 2026 season at the Ippodromo Roma Capannelle to a close.

Meanwhile, the programme of major races and associated events is being finalised and will be published shortly, completing the schedule of events planned for the coming autumn months.
