From 7 to 13 July 2025, Cinema 4Fontane will host the 30th edition of Cannes a Roma Mon Amour, the event that brings to the Capital an exclusive selection of titles directly from the latest edition of the Cannes Film Festival. The event is a section of the historic review Il Cinema attraverso i Grandi Festival (Cinema through the Great Festivals).
The 2025 edition presents a selection of 10-15 films in exclusive preview, screened in original language with Italian subtitles, from the most prestigious sections of the 78th Cannes Film Festival (In Competition, Un Certain Regard, Quinzaine des Cineastes, Semaine de la Critique).
In addition to screenings, the programme includes meetings with directors and actors, educational masterclasses and in-depth studies on contemporary issues.
The event was set up to promote auteur cinema, to support film culture and to offer a unique experience of high artistic quality, thanks to the screening of works of great artistic value, often excluded from commercial circuits, which reaffirm the value of the theatrical experience.
Cannes a Roma Mon Amour is realised by ANEC Lazio and Circuito Cinema, with the contribution of Roma Capitale - Assessorato alla Cultura.
