Rich in history and tradition, Taekwondo is a traditional Korean martial art that has long established itself as a combat sport and is now practised in 206 countries. For the world of Italian Taekwondo, 2025 is a special year dedicated to cadets, the young athletes aged between 12 and 14 who represent the future of the sport.
Awaiting the World Cadet Championships scheduled for May in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, from 14 to 16 March, the PalaTiziano - Palazzetto dello Sport is hosting the Italian Cadet Championships, three days of intense competitions that award the Italian national titles, bringing out not only the technical skills of the participants, but also the values of respect and determination typical of this discipline.
The program includes competitions for red and black belts, both male and female, with a special focus on ParaTaekwondo competitions (on 16 March). The event is a crucial stage for those aiming to represent Italy on the world stage in Fujairah and an opportunity for young athletes to hone their skills and test their abilities.
