Magnetic, poetic and elegant: on 26 July, one of the protagonists of Italian singer-songwriting returns to Rome, at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone, for the sole 2026 date of her Eri con me – Alice canta Battiato tour, as part of the Roma Summer Fest 2026.
Accompanied by Carlo Guaitoli, conducting and on piano, and the ensemble I Solisti Aquilani, the artist from Forlì takes to the stage of the Cavea to celebrate once again, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of his birth, the Sicilian maestro, composer of the sixteen songs on the album that gives the concert its title.
Born in 1954, Alice – the stage name of Carla Bissi – conquered audiences and critics in the early 1980s, thanks to her artistic collaboration with Franco Battiato, which marked a decisive turning point in her career: in 1980, the extraordinary artist released Il vento caldo dell’estate, and in 1981, she won the 31st edition of the Sanremo Festival with the iconic song Per Elisa, followed by other hugely successful songs such as Una notte speciale, Chan-son égocentrique, I treni di Tozeur (the latter two performed together with the Sicilian singer-songwriter), and Prospettiva Nevski.
Her profound, refined voice, sophisticated lyrics, and evocative atmospheres have established Alice as one of the most original artists on the Italian music scene, creating a remarkable artistic career characterised by significant collaborations, experimentation, and musical research, earning her two Targa Tenco and a Tenco Lifetime Achievement Award.
