Its members comprise Italy and twenty countries of Latin America. Its aim is to document problems and chances of its member countries in the field of culture, economy, techniques and social. It organizes activities to promote the knowledge of Latin-american reality. It is housed in the Renaissance-style Palazzo Santacroce-Pasolini.
