The heart of Rome lights up with the evocative multi-sensory and immersive light art exhibition that transforms the Botanical Garden, together with the prestigious Accademia dei Lincei, into a fairy-tale landscape, created with the collaboration of national and international artists, among art, music and light walks.
Realised at the same time as the Gardens of the Villa Reale in Monza, Trame di Luce 'redesigns' the paths and the marvellous vegetation of the splendid green space on the slopes of the Janiculum Hill for more than a kilometre with fairy-tale woods, bizarre creatures, magical caves, tunnels and perspectives of light, and astonishing shades of colour.
As you enter this fantastic universe, to be captured thanks to the many photo opportunities along the way, you can experience history and nature, walking among spectacular art installations. Among these are the Light Art of the two imposing illuminated heads of Talking Heads by Hungarian artist Viktor Vicsek and Rizhome's large vault made of illuminated segments by Tom and Lien Dekyvere, the 3D animation of Unit C1 and the special effects installations, Earth and I Kappa, by Simone Puzzolo, all accompanied by the notes of the splendid soundtrack by the famous pianist and composer Alberto Bof.
If you want to enjoy a tasty break, the snacks and delicious food and wine proposals await you at Luci di Gusto, the area dedicated to Roman street food and cocktail bars.
