The Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone hosts the concert of the brilliant Australian guitarist who returns to the capital as part of an international tour that will end next autumn.
On stage, the musician born in 1955 is accompanied in the opening by Mike Dawe, a young and creative British acoustic guitarist, known for composing, arranging and performing several parts simultaneously on a single instrument, with whom he collaborated in the new album Accomplice series Vol. 3.
Considered the best acoustic guitarist on the planet, with his unique style and extraordinary fingerpicking technique, Tommy Emmanuel has continued to inspire the sound of musicians around the world for years.
An aspiring musician since the age of four, touring with the family band in Australia at the age of six, Emmanuel has an exceptional career, with many accolades: one of five artists ever named CPG (Certified Guitar Player) by his idol Chet Atkins, awarded with two ARIA Awards and the medal of the Order of Australia.
