The Quartet, in addition to the saxophonist Gabriel Marciano from which it takes its name, is composed of Vittorio Esposito, Alessandro Bintzios and Cesare Mangiocavallo, young musicians well known on the jazz music scene.
On the occasion of this concert at the Casa del Jazz, the group presents a large repertoire of pieces characterized by a strong influence of modern New York jazz; During the evening, the musicians also interpret some pieces of the American jazz tradition in a personal key. All four musicians have years of experience in the field of jazz, combined with a great passion and dedication to the study of music.
Gabriel Marciano in 2018 was selected by The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City for college admissions and has had the opportunity to come into contact with many internationally renowned musicians.
Also the other three members of the Quartet, after having participated in several important festivals and musical reviews, have received prizes and awards in the jazz field.
