The extraordinary Israeli interpreter is back to Rome to perform as part of "Si può fare Cavea", the Auditorium Parco della Musica Summer festival, presenting her latest album, Afterallogy.
The singer takes the stage together with Gil Dor, her historic guitarist with whom she has been sharing an artistic experience of music, studies, and travel for 30 years. Without planning much, thanks to the perfect professional understanding, they gave birth to their most intimate production, an album whose title comes from a Gil's idea.
Afterallogy comes to life simply from the passion for Jazz, only with guitar and vocals, during the lockdown in Noa's home studio: choosing their favourite songs, arranging and improvising and focusing on what they love to do, because after all is said and done, this is what the singer and musician love and have to offer.
The album contains twelve songs by different authors and composers, such as Richard Rodgers (My funny Valentine); Leon Russell (This Masquerade); Cole Porter (Every Time we say Goodbye and Anything Goes); Leonard Bernstein (Something's Coming from the musical West Side Story); Billy Strayhorn (Lush Life), with some additional lyrics, music, and interventions by Noa herself.
The concert in the evocative setting of the Cavea is an opportunity to immerse yourself in a magical atmosphere: the incredible voice of Noa playing with the notes of Jazz - virtuous, sweet, and sensual - carrying the audience away into another time.
