Galleria Continua, the famous contemporary art gallery, celebrates 30 years of activity, with the opening of a new exhibition space inside the iconic and luxurious The St. Regis Rome hotel in Via Vittorio Emanuele Orlando.
A collaboration that has started in 2018, and which will see not only exhibitions but also talks, meetings, educational paths, workshops and guided visits for schools. The Cuban artist José Yaque will inaugurate the space, opening to the public from 24 January in the Diocleziano Room of the hotel, with his solo exhibition entitled Maturation.
Galleria Continua was born in 1990 from the passion of three Tuscan friends, Mario Cristiani, Lorenzo Fiaschi and Maurizio Rigillo, in the cinema-theatre in the amazing San Gimignano.
Since then, always present in ArtReview's Power 100 List, the prestigious exhibition space has continued in its international rat race in the art sector, opening the first Italian gallery in Beijing (2004), the Les Moulins space in the province of Paris (2007 ), Arte CONTINUA in Havana (2015), to finally arrive in the capital of art.
