Since the nineties, it is one of the most famous and recognized icons of Coca-Cola, thanks also to a successful advertising campaign: this Christmas, the big red truck decorated with lots of lights and with the unmissable image of Santa Claus stops in Rome in his journey along the Italian roads.
On 14 December, from 11 am to 9 pm, the magical Christmas village by Coca-Cola will stop at the Porta di Roma shopping center, to make everyone live an unforgettable experience in the company of Santa Claus, get excited with the notes of the Gospel choir and decorate the Christmas Tree with thoughts and desires. But the Christmas Village is also an opportunity to rediscover the pleasure of sharing and the joy of doing something for others, with the Coca-Cola Christmas Market, a solidarity market, whose proceeds are entirely donated to Banco Alimentare.
The initiative is part of a lasting collaboration between Coca-Cola and Banco Alimentare, a non-profit organization that recovers and distributes food surpluses, and this year celebrates 30 years of activity; Coca-Cola has been working alongside it since 2005, to support local communities. With the project “Share the magic of Christmas”, a million and a half meals will also be collected and distributed, and four social dinners will be organized to offer a special moment to people in need.
