The Trevi fountain has an unexpected charm thanks to the new led lighting inaugurated during these days; in fact there are 85 underwater floodlights and 6 those on shelves, which replace the old sodium lamps.
The headlights, with a total power of 2.1KW, guarantee an energy saving of 70 per cent, giving back to the monument all its splendor and also making it sustainable, respecting the environment.
While the projectors pointed at the shells behind the statue of Oceanus highlight the central body of the monument, the others inside the tank at the foot of the cliff and side statues illuminate the details. Even the upper basin is fully illuminated.
