There were 320 thousand spectators in total, with an economic impact for the city of Rome of 171.7 million euros, for the Coldplay concerts last July 16 at the Stadio Olimpico and that of David Gilmour, the former Pink Floyd who played on September 28 at the Circus Maximus. The research, conducted by Assoconcerti, highlights the importance of culture and entertainment in terms of economic impact on the territory. According to this research, in fact, the two concerts generated revenues of 44 million euros for transportation expenses, 36 million euros for accommodation, 25 million euros for food and drinks and 65 million for general expenses (tickets, clothing, gadgets, CDs and vinyl), for a total induced, as mentioned, of 171 million, with an average expenditure of 534.78 euros for each spectator.

Record numbers for the Capital, especially when compared to those of 2023 (SIAE data): the city of Rome on that occasion had collected 129 million euros in induced revenue for 1557 shows and 2.4 million spectators; less than the total amount generated by just two shows in 2024.
