A new bus line that improves and integrates the public transport service to and from Leonardo da Vinci Airport. As part of a general reorganization of the bus network along the coast nearest Rome, starting from 20 September a new ATAC bus route will operate between Fiumicino Airport and Ostia. By using the ATAC bus, tourists having a long wait between connecting flights will also be able to reach more easily the important archaeological park of Ostia Antica and the many naturalistic beauties of the area.
The new 060 line is active every day, with departures from the terminus from 4.30 am to 12 am. On holidays, the last run from the Lido Centro and Lido Nord stations of the Rome-Lido railway is at 11.30 pm. Passengers will be able to get on board using all Metrebus Roma tickets as well as Metrebus Lazio tickets that include zone A. At the airport, the bus stop is outside the Arrivals area of Terminal 2.
