Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti (CTE) - House of Emerging Technologies is a living lab inside the Tiburtina station conceived by Roma Capitale and co-financed by the MED (Ministry of Economic Development) and other corporate partners.
As part of the “technology transfer” program, the administration has issued a public call aimed at selecting micro, small and medium-sized enterprises willing to work in the area of Rome. The expire date of the call, which was initially on 7 December, has now been extended to 10 January 2023 to allow for wider participation.
The projects should enhance innovative technologies and solutions (5G networks, Artificial Intelligence, blockchains, Internet of things, cloud) to offer services to tourists and citizens, contributing to the development of a smart and sustainable city in the tourism and mobility sectors. The technology transfer program will last a maximum of four months.
The companies chosen by the committee (maximum 6) will have the opportunity to transform the research results of the partner universities into concrete solutions and have free access to the CTE co-working spaces and services provided by the project partners. The winners will be entitled to a contribution as reimbursement of expenses for the acquisition of external services, carried out as part of the innovation project.
