Teatro dell'Opera di Roma ph. Yasuko Kageyama

The ballet season ends with Rossini & Rossini, a new version of Rossini Cards which Mauro Bigonzetti had conceived in 2004, an abstract creation, free of any dramaturgical cage.

On Rossini and Britten’s music, the Roman choreographer writes scenes of parallel lives: different pieces played by the leading figures of the Roman ballet company, Alessandra Amato, Rebecca Bianchi, Susanna Salvi and Alessio Rezza, and the first male dancers, Claudio Cocino and Michele Satriano.

Anna Biagiotti designed the costumes for this new production; Carlo Cerri the set and light design; video by Carlo Cerri e OOOPStudio. On the podium, the young conductor Louis Lohraseb will direct the Teatro dell'Opera Orchestra in the performances scheduled.
