The Auditorium Conciliazione hosts PFM – Premiata Forneria Marconi, renowned for their unmistakable style: a captivating blend of rock, progressive and classical music. Each of their concerts is unique, thanks to the deep rapport between the musicians who, through their outstanding technical mastery, introduce subtle variations every evening, keeping their sound constantly fresh and relevant.
Each concert on the new “Doppia Traccia” tour is divided into two parts. The first features the band’s greatest hits, including Impressioni di settembre, È festa, Dove… quando… parte I, La carrozza di Hans and Mondi paralleli. The second part is dedicated to Faber, with “PFM canta De André”, featuring songs such as Il pescatore and Volta la carta.
On stage are Franz Di Cioccio (vocals and drums), Patrick Djivas (bass), alongside Lucio Fabbri (violin, backing vocals), Alessandro Scaglione (keyboards, backing vocals), Marco Sfogli (guitar) and Eugenio Mori (second drums).
Special guest: Luca Zabbini (keyboards, guitar, vocals).
Formed in 1970 (with their recording debut in 1972), the band quickly earned a prominent place on the international music scene, a status they continue to hold today. In 2016, the prestigious British magazine Classic Rock (UK) ranked PFM – Premiata Forneria Marconi 50th among the 100 most important artists in the world, while Rolling Stone UK placed the album Photos of Ghosts 19th among the most important records in progressive music.
In 2018, the band received the prestigious International Band of the Year award in London at the Prog Music Awards UK, and in 2019 the British magazine PROG UK named Franz Di Cioccio among the 100 icons of “the music that changed our world” (the only musician from the Latin world).
