Christmas at Cinecittà World lights up with Oriental World, the Festival of Chinese Illuminations, an ode to the magic and millenary charm of China.
Until 6 January, the Cinema and TV Amusement Park in Rome dresses up in Asian colours and charm with Oriental World, a journey of lights amidst grandiose architecture, exotic animals, animatronics, myths and legends, to venture on a journey of discovery of the mysterious oriental culture.
More than 220 light installations, the work of skilled craftsmen, up to 8 metres high, draw a fairy-tale world of over 1 km, to be visited on foot, included in the Cinecittà World ticket, winding through the Dragon Palace, the legendary underwater realm residence of the King of the Seas, inhabited by a variety of creatures such as the Turtle Prime Minister, the Crab General, the Shrimp and Fish Soldiers, and Oriental Wonderland, the land of wonders where Chinese mythology comes to life amidst sea plants and fantastic animals such as the Phoenix or the legendary Chinese Dragon over 30 metres tall.
In the enchanted atmosphere of the Park, between tradition and imagination, you can also embark on a journey through the authentic flavours of Chinese cuisine with Oriental Food, the themed street food.
Oriental World enriches the Christmas wonderland of Cinecittà World, which also awaits you with the magic of the North Pole of Cinecittà Street, the Christmas Village with Santa Claus's house, sweet markets, shows and 10 themed attractions.
The park is open every weekend from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and will be open continuously every day from 25 December to 6 January.
On 31 December it will host Italy's biggest New Year's Eve party: an entertainment village with 40 attractions, 8 themed dinners, 10 concerts and DJ sets, fireworks at midnight and non-stop fun from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m.
Closing the 2024 season on 6 January will be the Festa della Befana, full of surprises for everyone.
