The Musical Box performing Genesis

The famous Canadian band arrives at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone to present The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, the rock opera by the legendary Genesis.

Released by the British group in 1974, the double album is the sixth in the studio and the only concept one. It was the last one with the histrionic Peter Gabriel (author of the lyrics of the songs except for the title track), later replaced as frontman by Phil Collins.

The extraordinary success is inspired by a story by Gabriel himself about Rael, a young boy of Puerto Rican origin, the musician's alter ego and his dreamlike and surreal adventure in the underground world of New York.

On stage, precious vintage instruments and astonishing special effects accompany The Musical Box. The band recreates the original show of the mid-seventies, reviving the Genesis extraordinary universe and the magic of an era, taking the audience on an evocative journey in time.
