The all-female gospel group Light of Love, exceptionally together with the award-winning gospel singer Donnie McClurkin, offer us an exciting evening, with a performance full of energy.
Light of Love, formed by the four sisters Anita, Kimberly, LaDonna and Maurita, is one of the most innovative female groups in the field of gospel music that offers a modern and unusual style: their musical influences in fact, have been so wide, that the group has evolved into a very unique musical style, incorporating traditional gospel into non-traditional elements of Jazz, Hip-Hop, Rock and R&B, always retaining the positive message of universal love. Their talent has aroused the interest of some great contemporary gospel artists such as Andre Crouch, The Hawkins Family, Marvin Yancy, James Cleveland and many others. The group was nominated for the Grammy Awards in 2014.
Donnie McClurkin, in addition to being a universally known gospel music singer, is also a minister of contemporary Christianity of the United States of America. Winner of a Dove Award, two BET Awards, three Grammy Awards, two Soul Train Awards, ten Stellar Awards and a NAACP Image Award, in 2001 he created the Perfecting Faith Church in Freeport, New York, where he is now the senior pastor.
