The largest Lego® exhibition in Europe arrives at The Wow Side - Shopping Centre: 1,000 square metres of space dedicated to the world's most famous bricks with seven million pieces used to create unique constructions, many of which are interactive, including educational objects, life-size figures, historical and film characters, impressive buildings, inventions, nature and the world of art and music.
Among the works on display on the first floor of the shopping centre are an extraordinary 1:1 scale reconstruction of the Ferrari F40, an iconic Vespa scooter made with 50,000 LEGO® bricks, the legendary AT-AT™ from Star Wars™, more than 2 metres high, the reproduction of some frescoes of the marvellous Sistine Chapel, and the 2.5 metre Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the return, for football fans, of the life-size statue of the unforgettable captain of AS Roma, Francesco Totti.
The exhibition hosts the Fun Park, an area for children and adults where you can build and play with LEGO® bricks to imitate models or create new ones, while kids can enjoy the DUPLO® area.
Born in 1958, Lego were initially simple 'automatic interlocking bricks' traded exclusively in Denmark for the amusement of the little ones. Today, they can be considered the most popular toy for adults and children and an art object and showpiece used for the most varied creations, even full size.
