Cinema at the walls and…not only

The Cinema at the walls, one of the most loved events by the Romans, this year offers a billboard with 21 films, from June to September in three different arenas of the VII Municipality: thirteen films at the Parco delle Mura Aureliane, four films at the Gardens of Via Sannio and four at Romanina. As usual, the program is rich and varied, ranging from animation classics for the little ones such as 101 Dalmatians to arthouse films such as Good Bye, Lenin! for the older ones. In any case, all the films are of a high cultural level, with some titles in the original subtitled version.

The idea of ​​the event was born from the will of the Latin Walls Committee to enhance the Aurelian Walls which surround the neighborhood by making them available to citizens for opportunities to get together and socio-cultural activities. So the spirit is also that of sharing and coming together as a community of people. A community that goes from San Giovanni to Romanina, uniting in the initiative the central part with the more peripheral part of the town hall which was the cradle of Italian cinema.

Cinema at the walls is produced by the Mura Latine Committee in collaboration with the SiAmo VII association under the patronage of. Lazio Region, the Rome VII Municipality and the Appia Antica Park.
