Christmas World at Villa Borghese

Thrills, lights, and shows, the magic of Christmas is back in the heart of Rome: the Villa Borghese Park hosts Christmas World, the eagerly awaited Christmas event that, after last year's success, takes you on a mind-blowing journey of live performances, parades, musicals, and unmissable concerts.

In an area double the size of the last edition - about 50,000 square metres - more than 700 actors and figurants will perform on the main stage - which can accommodate about 2000 seated spectators - gigantic installations, themed attractions, and incredible photo opportunities await you to make your festivities exciting and, if you are travelling to Rome, your experience unforgettable.

Let's take a detailed look at the surprises awaiting you at Christmas World: six brand new musicals, seven reproduced world cities - Rome, Paris, London, Tokyo, New York, Berlin, and New Delhi - each with its food district, and the enchanted land of Santa Claus, Lapland, as the final destination. Don't miss the original folklore shows, the City of Lights, Santa's House, Italy's largest Nativity scene with life-size characters, the double-decker merry-go-round, Piazza Navona attractions and puppets, Gospel concerts, parades and majorettes, the Kids Playground, the Toy Factory, and a fantastic 800-square-metre ice rink.

The great novelty this year is the 'Willy Wonka' area, realised in collaboration with Warner Bros Pictures on the occasion of the launch of the movie, where you can immerse yourself in the magical and sweet atmosphere of Wonka's universe and explore the settings that made him the most famous inventor, magician, and chocolatier in the world.
