The show Christmas Stories in the Sala Squarzina of the Argentina Theater, by the Piccola Compagnia del Teatro Piero Gabrielli directed by Roberto Gandini, renews the usual Christmas event by presenting readings of the stories of Gianni Rodari, favorite author of the Laboratorio Gabrielli, together with an unpublished by Bernard Friot entitled Santa Claus.com and a story by Andrea Valente A strange letter to Santa Claus.
On stage, five Gabrielli actresses and actors read the most beautiful stories under the Christmas tree, accompanied by live music with songs related to the Christmas holidays. According to the tradition, the actors improvise with the audience, inventing different stories together with children every day, following Rodari's formulas linked to the Grammar of Fantasy. And so, for example, stories are born with a Befana who no longer flies because she has run out of fuel on her broom or with a New Year who is unable to take service because the old one has disappeared.
A special occasion which gives the opportunity to be all together at the theatre, adults and children, for a show that gives us all the warmth of the holidays.
With Francesca Astrei, Paolo Minnielli, Giulia Navarra, Gabriele Ortenzi and Fabio Piperno; music by Roberto Gori and Flavio Cangialosi.
