Cage Warriors 162 Rome 2023

The Cage Warriors return to Fiera Roma for a colossal night of MMA action on Saturday 28 October for CW 162!

Previous events that have taken place in Italy have featured former world bantamweight champion Michele Martignoni, title challenger Dylan Hazan, UFC veteran Carlo Pedersoli Jr, and a host of up-and-coming stars such as Dario Bellandi, Jasmine Favero, Simone Patrizi, Michael Pagani and Emanuele Sabatino.

It will be an exciting night of mixed martial arts that will pit our favourites against each other in the octagonal cage against the rest of the world.

Founded in London in 2001, Cage Warriors Fighting Championship - Cage Warriors or CWFC - is a British mixed martial arts association that with over 150 events in 14 countries is Europe's longest running MMA-themed event.

The first fights took place at the York Hall in London with Cage Warriors 1: Armageddon on 27 July 2002: thirteen bouts in which athletes from all over the world participated, including our own Alessio Sakara.

On 29 March 2008, for the first time, Cage Warriors expanded its borders and landed in the United States with Cage Warriors USA: Battle Royale.

Since then, the exciting sports event, which features at least one event per month, has also been hosted in Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Jordan, Lebanon, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Russia, Denmark and, from 2022, in Italy.
