The pianist and composer Antonio Artese presents Voyage, his latest artistic work at the Casa del Jazz, a suite for jazz quartet with ten original compositions arranged for clarinet and piano trio.
Voyage has as its main theme the theme of travel in all its infinite declinations: from that by sea, which has always been a crossroads of exchanges between different cultures, to the inner one in search of oneself.
The record refers to both classical and jazz music and leads the listener to explore different musical languages with constant attention to all instruments.
The songs are characterized by harmonic refinement, swing and counterpoint for an elegant music, of great emotional impact, which exalts the improvisation skills of the musicians.
With him, on stage Mirco Mariottini on clarinet, Lello Pareti on double bass and Alessandro Marzi on drums.
