At the threshold of 88 years old, the Godfather of English Blues, John Mayall, announces one last triumphant farewell tour to the stage in 2022 to meet fans once again before his well-deserved retirement.
With a career spanning over sixty years, John Mayall is one of the pillars of British Blues music. A singer-songwriter, a pianist, an harmonica player, and a guitarist, he founded the John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers band in the Sixties. It became a true hotbed of talents such as Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Jack Bruce, Mick Taylor, Walter Trout, Coco Montoya, and Buddy Whittington.
For over 50 years, John Mayall has served as a pioneer of blues music, rightly earning the title of 'The Godfather of British Blues.' In 2013, John signed with producer Eric Corne's label, Forty Below Records, and has since been experiencing a true artistic and career renaissance, including a Blues Hall of Fame induction in 2016.
