The Ostia Pier, located in the coastal area of Rome's capital, is a symbol of the Roman coastline. Inaugurated on 27 October 1940, it was subsequently rebuilt several times, the last one in 1982. It is located on the Ostia seafront, connected to the sea roundabout and flanked by Piazza Anco Marzio.
