The ghost town of Galeria Antica, is along the via di Santa Maria in Galeria, a street that from the via Aurelia goes to the north to the via Braccianese and is immersed in an oasis of great naturalistic interest. From this point of view the area is very interesting with its waterfall, the ravine of the river Arrone, the wood. The River Arrone is home to the miller's thumb as well as the barbel, southern European roach, chub and eel. The fauna includes the fox, hedgehog, porcupine, and the birds include the black kite, kingfisher, hoopoe, river nightingale, great tit, tawny owl and owl. The wood is formed of ilex, Turkey-oak, downy oak, laurel and maple, and in the more humid zones, willow, elm and alder. The village of Galeria Antica has very interesting ruins: the millstone, the church and above all the ancient fortress with its high walls and the keep protected by two doors.
Surface area 40 ha.
