Corrado Veneziano started painting when he was very young.
He has worked in parallel with his theatrical activity (studying at the Piccolo Teatro in Milan and working several times as director for the Venice Biennale) and with non-fiction, publishing books - on the theme of art, expressiveness and communication - with major Italian and foreign publishers: Laterza, Giunti, Besa, Gremese, ETS, Il Sextante, Presses universitaires de Sainte-Gemme.
Convinced of the extent to which painting (and art in general) is always traversed and nourished by complex tensions, he has pursued a broader course of studies; with a degree cum laude at the age of 22 in Literature, and with Doctoral Studies in Art, specialisations in Philosophy, History, Psychology and Latin Language.
He has taught and held seminars in Italian and foreign universities and academies: Harvard University, Université libre de Bruxelles, University of Lanzhou, Accademia nazionale d'arte drammatica Silvio d'Amico, Luiss Guido Carli, Conservatorio Santa Cecilia.
For Veneziano, art is therefore a process of refined cultural matrix, a place of scientific and linguistic research, an ethical and intellectual responsibility. And it is a point of arrival and pure pleasure: aesthetic and physical.
