The Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone hosts the extraordinary Brazilian singer-songwriter who performs in the Capital for the only Italian date of his Meu Coco Tour as part of the Roma Summer Fest 2023.
The musician presents his latest album, from which the concert takes its name, alternating with the most significant songs in the musical history of the Bahian artist. Against the evocative backdrop born from a sketch left by Hélio Eichbauer, who died in 2018 and was the creator of almost all the scenes of the famous singer's shows, Veloso takes the stage accompanied by the talented musicians who collaborated in the making of the album: Lucas Nunes, Kainã do Jeje, Pretinho da Serrinha, Rodrigo Tavares, Alberto Continentino and Thiaguinho della Serrinha.
Author of timeless songs such as Alegria, Alegria, Coraçao Vagabundo and Você é Linda, Caetano Veloso has explored different musical genres - from bossa nova to samba, from jazz to African sounds to rock - giving life to a unique style. Considered one of the founders of Tropicalismo, the artist boasts an exceptional career that has earned him numerous awards, including thirteen Latin Grammys and two Grammy Awards in the Best World Music Album category and a Tenco Award.
