The Casale La Cacciarella was built by Cesare Ranucci at the end of 1800 in a vast farm owned by the princes Torlonia and was used as a game preserve. It had a twin farm that was pulled down. The present farm has survived because the medieval sundial in the centre of the tower was protected by the Superintendency of Fine Arts. Today the Cacciarella is a place of amusement, entertaining and culture.
