The living legend of international pianism returns to the Capital for an extraordinary concert on the stage of the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone.
Kissin's career began very early. A Child prodigy of the piano and one of the greatest talents of our times, at the age of eleven, he made his debut with the Uljanovsk Symphony Orchestra and the following year, he performed his first recital in Moscow. In 1988, at 17, the great conductor Herbert von Karajan chose him as a soloist in the 1988 New Year's Concert of the Berliner Philharmoniker. A talent whose music the world seems to need more and more and who regularly records sold-out concerts around the world that he, as a diligent "servant of music", has been travelling from end to end for more than 30 years.
With the virtuosity, superfine technique and intensity of his interpretations, the charismatic artist performs in a suggestive and wide-ranging repertoire: from Bach's Chromatic Fantasia and Fugue BWV 903 to Mozart's Sonata K 311, from the Estampes collection by Debussy to some pieces by Rachmaninoff which close the long-awaited recital.
