The concert at the Academy of Denmark, in collaboration with the Keyboard Charitable Trust, provides a rich program characterized by music from different eras and various composers, so as to allow the public to get to know the young pianist Alexander Ullman, one of the most brilliant talents of his generation.

The evening includes Two short pieces by Orlando Gibbons, the Piano Sonata n.21 in C major op.53 Waldstein by Ludwig van Beethoven, the Partita op.2 by Arvo Pärt, the Pavane pour une infant défunte by Maurice Ravel and Prelude, Chorale and Fugue by César Franck.

Born in London in 1991, Alexander Ullman was awarded first prize at the Franz Liszt International Piano Competition in Budapest in 2011 and first prize at the Franz Liszt International Piano Competition in Utrecht in 2017. He has also performed as a soloist with the most important orchestras such as, for example, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Norwegian Radio Orchestra, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic and the Budapest Radio Orchestra.
